We found that the scientific concept of Frustration played itself out perfectly in our attempts to plan a new video project together. When E was satisfied with both J and M and they with him, J and M were unsatisfied with each other. Soon the situation would change, and M would be satisfied with E and J (and vice versa), while the latter two were unsatisfied with each other. And on and on...

We argued, fought and tested the boundaries of our friendship. Finally, for the sake of our relationships and future collaborations, we lay the project to rest. Over the course of all of the drama, I kept a journal of our interactions and translated those into a series of diagrams. Now, several months later, I'm resuscitating our idea: and am working on a video about our failure, and how Frustration foiled our plans.
