Morse Toad

A Fowler's Toad may tap his toes for chow.

Last night I had a dream that I had an amphibious pet named Morse Toad. I woke up giggling about it, thinking that my dream-self was extremely clever and funny. I got out of bed and looked online to see if anyone else had come up with the silly name Morse Toad before, and came across an article called Morse Toad about how toads and frogs engage in toe-tapping when food is near! Supposedly the vibrations that the amphibians create with their digits may agitate invertebrates and encourage them to move (and then be seen and eaten), but there's still research to be done.
