Lurch and Holler.

After the Transmodern Festival, Elizabeth Downing from a very interesting Baltimore music duo called Lurch and Holler sent me a couple CDs with a note saying she liked my videos. I sadly missed their performance on Friday night... REALLY sadly! Those CDs were a lovely surprise. Lurch and Holler use moody, bluegrassy vocals, piano and banjo to create a strange, minimal, popping/thrumming/freezing/thawing soundscape that I'm finding quite addictive. And their lyrics are all wrapped up in science, mythology and literature... Go listen!
